Dear Passion Episode 43

Morning in the gym I was practicing and working on the game plan. While I was there in the morning practice, I did plan off how to get my to practice with me since we were not practicing enough. I came to know about that by watching the video yesterday. We were passing the ball yet it was not making any points. So I play the video in the half the speed and learned that we pass, yet the timing of the pass was not right. George was inside the arc yet couldn't pass the ball in the paint. So I understood that the timing of the play was not right.

Planning with team

In the evening I asked everyone to come to court after school practice, and everyone came in 15 minutes later. I hand them out the game plan and they took even asking questions. I was surprised so I made an effort to ask, " Did you all get what is the plan?", " Yes" was the reply. I was on my way home and thought, " this is not the right way to lead the team. I need to lead them differently. Is there something else that is causing them to act this way?" 

I came home and googled the best captain and coaches in basketball and noted their names. Then I read about how they lead the team and how they interact with the players. I learned one key skill- they do not let the emotions of the player affect the game.
