Match Day
I was in the stadium early to practice my free throw, I was in my zone of practice and the Arc Flyers arrived at the court. I could hear them. I said to myself, " I need to get team too " but then on the second thought, " Do I need them, really? " So I played my game. The game started we were all set for the game. I said we are going to win this match. Why? I practiced so hard for this fame that if I lose I cannot sit with myself.
All the practice of 2 1/2 days was running in my head. That offensive rebound, defensive overload- we were ready for them. The game was ready and was not allowing them to make any alley-ops. For the first and second quarters, the score was 40-38. The Arc Flyers guard will shoot from 3 point line- I was sure of it. However, in the 3rd quarter, he was dribbling with his left hand towards the baseline.I did not see why was he taking the ball to the left even when his strong point is to the right. Then after 3 plays I got it, Cole was the shortest and he was on the left and the Arc Flyers rebound player was rested. So if the guard from the Arc Flyers did shoot the ball he has to be 100% sure that the ball was going to be in the basket. And to do that, he went to the left since Cole cannot jump as high as others.
The game ended we lost 68-55. 2 Losses to 1 Win, played 3 games
43 days for the title.
Life Lesson- There will always be surprises.
