Dear Passion Episode 35

That evening I was on the court thinking why was our defence so weak? I did defend the players so where were most of the points scored- on the drive and layup. No one was there to take the rebound. Cole is short, George was around the arc, I was at the baseline so the center was open and anyone with speed could break into the defense. The Guard position was left open and hence the shots were made. We need to change our defense, Paul and Matt were benched and we needed them on the game.

So I called them and in 15 minutes they were on the court. We started practicing and I was hitting was easy jumper against them, so I changed my strategy and started teaching them instead of playing with them. I told them to stay tight, put their hands up to the vision of the player. And then we played for as long as possible until I remembered about screening.

Screening ( Video- USA BASKETBALL Screening tutorials) helps the shooter to come out off a defensive position and take a clear look at the basket. It was 10:00 pm I went home and next was against Arc flyers- their game is completely alley-oop. 2 days left for the game and 46 days for the title.
