Morning came up, and I went downstairs for breakfast. The table was set and mom was happy because she thought I studied all night while I was drawing. I went to school it had a different story waiting for me. As the exam was near I had to submit the assignment within 2 days and it already felt like, why assignment? I was thinking about my assignments what were the subjects and where did all the questions go from my book.
I remembered, I never paid attention to the assignments. So I had to ask my friends and not to surprise me, they too didn't have the questions. It was then I learned the lesson, it is important to have friends, however, it is also important to have all types of friends, from studious to the most mischievous one, the person who knows which person to contact when needed-- the communicator. I was walking home and found that Marcus was still practicing I was all juiced up to go and play, rather, I stayed back and went home.
At home, I got refreshed and went up to my room and studiously studied till dinner. I had decided that I would study for 2 hours and after dinner and study again but this time I would draw and write. During dinner, I asked Dad, " why are there so many trophies and posters of your gray room? " - the room of storage. My dad said, " Those are priced possession of my
childhood days ", to which mom said, " you also are going to fill them by yours " that was quite a surprise because I felt like mom disagreed with me on playing ball, seems like I misunderstood her.
I went up to draw and write. An hour passed by and I made a decision that I would do the same of passing the exams. 12 days remaining, I put out all the columns, all the subjects, chapters, and assignments and unknowingly created my first schedule. And on the same night, all I thought was about jumpers and the 3 ball, free throw and the most precious game-winners clutch shots.
66 days for the league and 11 days for the exams.
Life Lesson: Be with every type of person, you will learn different things from them and in time of need they will be the resource.
