Do you have crazy friends?| Stick with the crazy friends | Dear Passion Episode 4

It was like every day, the school then the gym, play basketball, however, while returning something strange happened. I always used to pass through the basketball court to cut short the distance to home. It gave me the feeling that I am still with the game. However, that day something different happened, a boy was playing basketball on the court. The court is usually used vacant. When I got there, he was alone shooting the ball. I went near him, but he was too focused on the game. He kept shooting and shooting, seeing that my spirit too went up, I went to the other side, and started shooting, I shot 100 free throws. I sat down, he also, came to rest, I asked him

Me: Since, when are you playing?

(as it was the first thought that came into my mind)

Friend: 4pm 

(Current time was 7pm)

Me: You have been shooting for 3hrs! 

Why do you do that?

Friend: I want to become the best basketball player there is, so I would do anything to get there

           

Me to myself: " I got to get better and stronger. He is working that hard then I have work even harder " 

The next day came, I saw him again. At this point in time, I decided to take the other approach, I sat there & studied his game because I learned from the greats of Basketball, it is necessary to study the game, understand his strength and weakness. So, I sat there, I saw his game for 2hrs, however, he was too focused even to notice me. After he was done, I went to him and said

Me: Let's have a 1 on 1

Friend: (Panting) Sure, Let's do it.

(I said to myself, man this guy is crazy as I am )

(Then we started the duo match. The game went on for 20 mins and I was tired, I couldn't take a breath more, however, he still had the juice in to go further. No wonder he won the match as the score was 20- 2 after 30 mins)

I went home, it was dark real dark outside mom, came out looking for me. I ran into her a block away from the house. She took me back, cleaned me up, and saw bruises on my legs and arms. She sat back and called my dad, and told dad about the bruises. She thought I was out there fighting with kids, dad came, sat, and asked about it. I told him everything, there is known about that boy. My parents were tense about me fighting and here I was excited to play with him again.

Suddenly, dad asked me a question:

Dad: What was the name of your friend?

That left me in Awww... I never asked him, his name.

Lesson: Find the ones who are as crazy as you and be around them.
