I and my dad had a ritual of walking in the neighborhood every evening. One fine day of summer, we were strolling in the park and I noticed a paper ball lying on the ground and I threw it into the garbage bin. I ran happily towards my father and said "It went in dad. It went in!!!" and in my amusement, he told me "Wonderful son, I am proud of you." After reaching home, to my excitement, I told my mother everything about it. She gave me a hug, saying " Amazing, sweetheart."
Here's a quick recap of Episode 1
The next day evening, as we were strolling in the neighborhood, I saw children play Basketball. I asked my dad and went to play. He sat by the area the entire game and we went home. Running towards my mother, I told her about the game. She asked me "what is the name of the game?". I said, "I don't know, however, I loved playing it."
I told my dad that I loved playing the game, the peace it brought into my heart while playing and the satisfaction from the bottom of my heart was the most important feeling. My dad always supported me with this idea of
"What is the one thing that I love to do the most and go out there and do it."
After the summer break was over, I still had the urge to play the game. My dad was really supportive, he told me "I can achieve anything, if I had the desire to work for it.". He also put me in touch with the power of imagination.
So, every day coming back from school, we used to talk about the game, go out in the evening, I used to play and he would watch me and encourage me to play even more.
That's when, I started feeling the emotion of love, inner satisfaction, peace for the game from the bottom of my heart.
And I wanted to do it more often and be a part of it.
Life Lesson: Find the one thing that you love to do the most and go out there and do it.
